The Different Pointe of View lounge at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs, recently underwent a $750,000 refurbishment resulting in a new name “The Terrace Room at Different Pointe of View,” a clean-lined modern interior design, new décor for both indoor and outdoor enjoyment, a state-of-the-art sound and light system and a new communal menu featuring dishes perfect for sharing with a glass of wine handpicked by Different Pointe of View’s award-winning cellar master and sommelier, Eric Spragett.
The Terrace Room reflects a modern, contemporary yet warm design aesthetic and includes a dramatic backlit red glass flooring feature inherently drawing guests indoors and focusing attention toward astounding city views. The interior is understated in rich shades of earth-toned reds, slate gray and dark woodwork. Overstuffed settees and confidante sofas can be found both indoors and out, adding to an air of intimacy, while red glass adds exciting visual elements found backlit in illuminated back-bar cubbies and bead wall coverings, as well as in overhanging circular pendant lamps. Geometric shapes and figures are found throughout in fabrics and unique design elements. On The Terrace Room patio, rattan furniture in a Tuscan bronze finish creates an outdoor living room with one-of-a-kind city views. An eight-foot-tall, hand-forged iron arbor frames a cliff-edge fountain creating an ideal photo opportunity for weddings and celebrations. A nine-foot outdoor fire pit was created to add magic to any evening under the stars.
Guests can order from the new Terrace Room menu featuring such dishes as white truffle-glazed New York City pretzels with Hawaiian volcano salt, perfect with a goat cheese fondue or home made Stromboli pizza paired with grape pomodoro. For those looking to host a wedding or corporate event at The Terrace Room, the menu can be custom designed to satisfy all palates and special dietary requirements
